Happy Belated Birthday Aunt Jana! We love you and miss you! Jana, you have been such an encouragement to me. I love getting your advice on being a wife and now a mom. (After the last time we saw you Jon and I kept saying - "Did you see what Jana was doing with Gabriel? Lets try that!") We love you!

Mom

  My first official Mothers Day! My two men made it a spectacular day even though we were traveling today. I still look at Jon amazed that I am his wife, and I look at Gabriel and the amazement continues! I love being a mom so much more than I ever realized I would. But... it would not be possible without two other Moms!

My mom has been an amazing example to me of how to be a wife and mother. She still manages to juggle many hats but have plenty of time for all of us. I have to say it has been a very hard transition into the role of Grandma... Ha! Of course not! Just checking to see if you are really reading this. She dove in head first and loves every minute. When she is with Gabriel the rest of us just sit back and watch the two of them. He gnaws on her chin, she kisses his face... what a happy slobbery time they have!

 

I also have another wonderful Mom in law. She is a huge encouragement to me and always willing to lend a helping hand. Gabriel also loves Grandma Eads so very much. She knows all the fun games to play and tells stories to him all the time. Our little family is so blessed to have such a godly heritage and terrific moms/grandmas that we love.
